Bellapierre General FAQs

What are the ingredients in your Mineral Foundation? Is it all natural?
Our mineral foundation is made up of only 4 ingredients….Mica to cover, Iron Oxides for colour and Titanium and Zinc Oxide to give protection from the sun, and that is it! You will find no harmful fillers or additives in any of our products, unlike so many of our competitors.

Is Bellapierre easy to use?
Yes! Whether you are a beginner or professional, you will find that Bellapierre is easily applied by anyone. Thanks to the 5 in 1 principle of our mineral foundations, there is no need to spend a lot of time putting on your make up. In a few simple steps you will be out the door with a flawless look that will last all day!

Is the makeup safe for all skin types?
Yes. Our makeup contains no chemicals, FDC dyes, Bismuth or any other fillers which are the cause of most breakouts, and reactions. Many people who have very sensitive skin or who have had treatments such as chemical peels, lazer treatments have had great success when using our products.

Do your products have an SPF?
All of our Mineral Foundations have a SPF rating of 15. Through the use of titanium dioxide and zinc, our Mineral Foundation offers Broad Spectrum UVA and UVB protection.

Are your products waterproof?
Some of our products are waterproof, such as our Gel Eye and Lip Liners, and Kiss Proof Lip Cremes. The majority of our line is considered “very water resistant,” though not every item can be marketed as truly waterproof. The products that are waterproof will say so in their web page descriptions.

I have had problems with acne, will this makeup cause me to breakout worse?
Our products are non-comedogenic, so they are perfect for people who are acne prone. Zinc is also an anti-inflammatory, and some customers have told us that our products seem to speed up the healing process.

Will Bellapierre camouflage spots on the face?
Yes. Regardless of if you have red spots from acne, brown spots caused from years spent in the sun or even birthmarks, our Mineral make up works as both a concealer and foundation in one. Following our application tips, you can easily cover all of your skins imperfections.

If I have more Mature and aging skin, will Bella Pierre work well for me?
Yes. Our products work well on all skin types. As a matter of fact, our mineral make up will reflect light lessening the appearance of the surface lines. Before applying, be sure to moisturise then apply our beautiful make-up primer. The silky formula of our primer fills in facial lines, allowing the foundation to glide on leaving a flawless finish.

I have dry skin…..can I use Bellapierre's powder foundations?
Yes. Many people think that a powder will dry the skin, which is completely UNTRUE! What dries out the skin are the fillers and additives that other cosmetic companies use. We don't add talc which is the main ingredient in most facial powders. Our foundation will actually lock moisture into your skin.

Do I need to use a moisturiser? And if so, which one should I use?
Using a moisturiser is very important! Skin's surface moisture needs to be replenished regularly. Using a proper moisturiser will make your skin soft and supple and it allows make up to adhere to skin more evenly. We recommend our Facial Moisturiser, which is filled with anti-oxidants and protects you from the damaging effects of free radicals. And like all of our products, it is Paraben free!

What should I use to remove my make up at the end of the day?
Due to the staying power of our mineral make up, you will need more than just water to remove it at the end of the day. For cleansing, we recommend the use of our Milky cleanser. This soft textured creamy cleanser that gets deep in the pores and gently removes make-up, dirt and other impurities without depleting your skin's own moisture. Ideal for all skin types, it can be either removed with a tissue or rinsed off.
